So it has been quite some time since I have actually sat down to breathe. I mean just how does one find the time to take time to smell the roses when there is pollution swimming around.
The school year has come to an end for the boys. Summer is here and for the first time I have realized that I have been out in space. All summer camps are full and the wait list good luck. Back to the drawing board. Well you know there is always plan "B". Please tell me that someone actually came up with a back up plan. Oh man, that was my job too! Buggar.
Moving on, I have discovered that the previous years treatment has not been as successful as we had hoped for. No worries, I have decided to try a different course of action and will be beginning again here in week or so. My emotions are all over the place. I can't decide what to think. I guess for me fighting is not a question. The biggest question for me is when do I start. My mom, on the hand, may not see it the same way that I do. I believe that in spite of everything that is going on, she has a hell of a load to carry. You are an amazing woman. MY ROCK, MY EXAMPLE!
Elijah just started phase one of the braces process. Retainer and headgear. I am amazed at how far they have come. I remember that when I went to school kids had these crazy traps on their heads and we all would start and gawk at them. Sure we pointed and laughed too, but hey it was all in good fun. Builds character. HE is a bit apprehensive but he'll be fine.
McKenzie will be starting grade 6 this fall. I can't believe how big this child grows. He is like fox gloves on the river banks. Leave them unattended and they grow like crazy. Football is still his sport. However, we are approaching the girlie stage. Help- does anyone have a cage to put him in. Its one thing to say he has a nice smile, but he knows it and has been working it. You go Lil' Bit. I mean little girls go home.
Daivon.... my lil man.... what to say about my number one guy. Five ten going into grade nine. He has taking a liking to my dad. Its funny how that works. Hmmmm. More thoughts on that later. Not a lot of plans for him this summer. He is going to go to Silver wood theme Park in Idaho with the Y. Stay tuned on that.
As for me, one can see that I am clearly busy. I work full time; in school and barely have time to breathe. One day, the roses will smell so pleasant, mellow and fragrant. But till then.... where are my keys?
